Saturday June
11th is EAA's International Young Eagles Day and a
fabulous event is being planned at St Louis Downtown Airport (KCPS) in
Cahokia, IL.
St. Louis University has taken the lead on organizing an all-day Gateway to Aviation
event in cooperation with the St. Louis Science Center, the Greater St.
Louis Air & Space Museum, Wick's Aircraft, SWIC and various other
aviation businesses and vendors. The goal is to allow youth to
explore the many opportunities for aviation careers through hands-on
activities and exhibits. Mark your calendars now for this
terrific event.

Experimental Aircraft Association
(EAA)'s Ford Tri-Motor airplane will be coming to St. Louis Downtown
Airport (tentatively the weekend of September 22nd 2011) to offer rides
(cost to be determined).
This historic airplane was the luxury aircraft of its day.
GASG will be on hand during this event.
